CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A local group gathered Monday evening to condemn the weekend shooting at a Sikh temple Wisconsin.
The Guru Nanak Foundation of Tidewater gathered in Chesapeake for a candlelight vigil, and says the incident was an attack of religious freedom of all Americans.
"We are peaceful people. We are not mad, but yes, we are sad, and we are still looking answers that why it happens to Sikh people," one member told WAVY.com.
