School bus rear-ended in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - No students were injured in a school bus accident in the Grassfield area of Chesapeake Tuesday morning.

Police spokeswoman Kelly O'Sullivan said it appears a vehicle rear-ended the bus in the 600 block of South Dominion Boulevard.

The accident was reported at 8:19 a.m.

There were students on board, but there were no reported injuries.

O'Sullivan said one person inside of the vehicle that hit the bus was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
