Police pursuit ends in crash
Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake police say the closure of four northbound lanes of I-464 near the I-64 interchange was caused by a motorcycle accident that began as a police pursuit.
At 8:15 p.m. Feb. 3, an officer tried to stop the motorcyclist on the Chesapeake Expressway for a traffic violation, but the rider did not stop. A pursuit ensued and the officer found the motorcycle had crash near the interchange.
The rider was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.
