CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police said a man suffered non-life threatening injuries after crashing his pick-up truck into a Chesapeake home Friday evening.

According to D.M. Boykin with the Chesapeake Police Department, the accident occurred just before 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of Geneva Avenue.

Boykin said it is still unclear what caused the accident, but the driver, 59-year-old Joseph Weaser, was transported to Norfolk Sentara General Hospital for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

The home suffered minor damage.
