Overturned vehicle halts I-64 westbound

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police say the westbound lanes of the High Rise Bridge have reopened after motor vehicle crash with injuries.

According to officials with the Virginia Department of Transportation, drivers were re-routed to Route 17.

VDOT reported a 1-mile backup at 8:30 p.m. As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, the lanes were back open.
