CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A Chesapeake police officer suffered a minor injury after she was shoved during a fight Friday night.

The part-time officer was working at the Cinemark movie theater at Chesapeake Square Mall when the disorderly person the officer was dealing with shoved her.

A call went out for an officer down, but police say her injury was very minor. She was taken to Norfolk General for treatment.

Officer Sarah Peedin, with Chesapeake police, said Antonio Roberts, 21, was taken into custody. Roberts is charged with trespassing, resisting arrest and felony assault on a law enforcement officer.
