CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A drive-by shooting landed a Chesapeake man in the hospital.
Police say they received a call from Chesapeake Regional Medical Center at 2:30 a.m. in reference to a shooting victim who arrived there.
According to police spokeswoman Kelly O'Sullivan, the victim said he was sitting on his porch in the 200 block of Hurdle Dr. when a dark SUV drove by and someone inside fired a shot, hitting him in the leg.
The man drove himself to the hospital.
The case remains under investigation.
