CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Chesapeake fire crews responded to a trailer fire in the 2500 block of Gilmerton Road.
Fire officials tell WAVY.com the fire was caused by a carelessly discarded cigarette on the home's deck. The fire also damaged the siding of a neighbor's home.
The two men inside were able to escape unharmed and they are currently staying in a nearby motel.
