CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - The opening of the Jordan Bridge is delayed until August, according to General Manager of the project Kevin Crum.

During construction, a slab on concrete fell onto railroad tracks underneath the bridge, causing four minor injuries.

There are 525 feet left to build on the 5,375 foot-long bridge according to Crum.
