Chesapeake police seek shooting suspect

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a shooting suspect.
Delando Smallwood, 32, of the 1000 block of Greenfield Crs. in Suffolk, has been charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony, a police news release said.
Smallwood is also known as "DJ Total Wreck" and drives a van with "DJ Total Wreck" written on it.
Police said Smallwood is wanted for a Jan. 29 shooting in the 4700 block of W. Military Highway. The victim and the suspect got into a verbal argument that turned physical.
Police said Smallwood shot the victim and then ran away. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
