CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A two-story home in Chesapeake caught fire late Monday afternoon after lightning struck the home's roof.

According to Capt. Scott Saunders with the Chesapeake Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the 1100 block of Willow Avenue shortly before 5 p.m. to fire coming through the roof. The fire was contained within one hour.

No one was injured in the fire.

Saunders says the house is uninhabitable.
