CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police say an individual who drove a truck into a Chesapeake home Tuesday afternoon is suffering from minor injuries.
According to Ravi Steth with the Chesapeake Police Department, the driver crashed into a home in the 600 block of Blossom Arch at approximately 4 p.m.
One resident was home during the incident and went unharmed. The home suffered major structural damage as a result of the accident.
The driver was transported to Chesapeake Regional Hospital.
Steth says it does not seem as though alcohol or speed were factors in the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
