CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police say they need the public's help in identifying two individuals said to have been the last people with a Chesapeake man before he was shot and killed.

According to Ravi Sheth with the Chesapeake Police Department, police were dispatched to Elco Street at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 20 for an injured person call.

When officers arrived, they found Richard Alexander, 26, with gunshot wounds. Alexander was later pronounced dead at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Police said Wednesday Alexander's friend that goes by "Tay" and his girlfriend were the last people he was seen with that day.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
