CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Three men assaulted two employees at a Chesapeake auto shop on Wednesday morning July 28, causing the victims serious injury, police said.
A third employee at auto shop, called Squidly's, on Indian River Road, was able to help the two being assaulted and the suspects ran off. Two of the three suspects were seen entering a convenience store just before 7:30 a.m. and making a purchase minutes prior to the assault, police said.
All three suspects are black males between 20 and 30 years old.
The first is described as about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds. The second is described as about 6-foot and 230 pounds; he also has one or two of his ears pierced. The third suspect is described as having shoulder-length corn rows.
The first two suspects were seen in the convenience store surveillance video; they are the ones wearing black and brown shirts. The man in the red shirt later in the video was not involved.
