Arguing about the husband's back-up singer dreams

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A couple from Chesapeake was featured on NBC's 'The Marriage Ref' Thursday night.
Kathy and Kelvin Hawkins were on the show because Kevin wants to go on tour as a backup singer but Kathy's not backing up his dream.
Tom Papa and expert panelists Cedric the Entertainer, Martha Stewart, and Jason Alexander reviewed the couple's dispute. In the end, they all agreed the husband should get to go on tour if the opportunity presented itself. But host Tom Papa ruled his wife needed to 'check in' on him often if he does.
'The Marriage Ref' airs Thursday night at 10 p.m. ET.
