CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Officials say a Chesapeake school bus was involved in an accident Wednesday afternoon.
According to Tom Cupitt with Chesapeake Public Schools, a car clipped a school bus from Carver Intermediate School while students were on board the bus.
The incident happened at an intersection near the school just after school let out at 2:30 p.m., according to Cupitt.
Cupitt said he is not sure how many students were on the bus and says the director of transportation for the school system did not report any injuries. A school nurse is on scene checking up on the students.
