NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Chesapeake man pled guilty in a Norfolk federal court Thursday to child pornography and firearms charges, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.

Neal Assad Sabra, 45, pled guilty to two counts of transportation of child pornography and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 20 years, as well as a $250,000 fine on each child pornography count and a maximum of 10 years on the weapon charge.

Court documents showed that Sabra sent numerous images of child pornography to an undercover officer in New York through e-mail. Search warrants were executed on his home, where investigators found a USB thumb drive with child pornography videos on it.

Through more searching, investigators found more than 300 images and 50 videos of child pornography in Sabra's numerous computers and other electronic media.
