GLOUCETER, Va. (WAVY) - A grand jury has determined that there is enough evidence to proceed with felony charges in the case of a Gloucester girl kept in a cage.

According to investigators in the county, Brian and Shannon Gore kept their daughter in a crib made into a cage.

Prosecutors say they fed the girl, who was 6 at the time, through the slats of the crib and allowed her to sit for days in her own feces.

The Gores remain in jail without bond.
