BEDFORD, Va. (AP) - Jury deliberations are under way in Bedford in the trial of a former high school administrator from Virginia accused of killing his estranged wife.
Jurors began deliberations Monday in the trial of 39-year-old Wesley Earnest. He is accused of first-degree murder of Jocelyn Branham Earnest in December 2007.
Earnest testified he was at his Chesapeake home when Jocelyn Branham Earnest was shot to death in December 2007 in her Bedford County home.
Jocelyn Branham Earnest was born in Morgantown, W.Va., and graduated from West Virginia University. She was a member of the Mountaineer women's basketball team from 1989 to 1992.
