Carrier Air Wing SEVEN to come home

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Five squadrons from Carrier Air Wing SEVEN (CVW-7) aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) will arrive at Naval Station Norfolk Chambers Field and NAS Oceana Tuesday, July 27 following their seven month deployment to the North Arabian Sea in support of Maritime Security Operations.

Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron ONE TWO ONE (VAW- 121), the "Bluetails" with four E-2C "Hawkeye" aircraft and twenty aircrew will arrive at Chambers Field at 10:00 am.

Strike Fighter Squadron EIGHT THREE (VFA-83), the "Rampagers", Strike Fighter Squadron ONE ZERO THREE (VFA-103), the "Jolly Rogers", Strike Fighter Squadron ONE THREE ONE (VFA-131), the "Wildcats", and Strike Fighter Squadron ONE FOUR THREE, (VFA-143), the "Pukin' Dogs" will begin arriving at NAS Oceana at 2:00 pm with 44 aircraft and 56 aircrew.
