Bob McDonnell visits Foodbank

NORFOLK, Va. - When Bob McDonnell becomes governor, there's no doubt he'll be a busy man. So why not get started early?

On Monday, McDonnell visited visited with military families at the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story , the USO of Hampton Roads at the Little Creek Division and held a youth outreach event at the Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern Virginia , Virginia Beach

McDonnell volunteers visited the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia in Norfolk.

On Tuesday McDonnell is scheduled to hold a press conference in Richmond to announce additional appointments to his administration.

Governor-elect McDonnell will be inaugurated and take office on Saturday, January 16.
