BBB warns of Super Bowl scams

ARLINGTON, Va. (WAVY) - With the Super Bowl just a few days away, the Better Business Bureau is warning consumers about knock-off team jerseys and memorabilia.
The BBB says scammers use this time of year to sell counterfeit NFL gear. The organization says beware offers that are too good to be true, utilize pushy sales tactics or merchandise of poor quality.
The best way to make sure you're merchandise is authentic is to buy directly from the team or league website or retail stores.
Don't forget, you can watch Super Bowl XVI on WAVY TV 10 Feb. 5. Kick-off is at 6:30 p.m.
