Police: Wachovia bank robbed in NN

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Newport News police are hoping you can help them identify a bank robbery suspect.
Take a good look at the suspect pictured to the left of this story. If you recognize the man shown call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
Newport News police say the man pictured entered a Wachovia bank located at Cedar Lane and Warwick Blvd. on Monday at around 11 a.m. They say he handed a teller a note demanding cash and implying he had a weapon. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot.
No one was injured in the incident.
