Portsmouth gambling operations raided

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Only WAVY.com was there as Portsmouth police raided two businesses they say were running illegal gambling operations.

Police tell WAVY.com they've been watching "T1" on Airline Boulevard and "Sweepstakes" on Victory for the last three months. Thursday night members of the department searched both places. They seized approximately 50 computers, ATM machines, surveillance systems and other evidence. Police also made five arrests and charged them with Felony Conducting an Illegal Gambling Operation.
