Audio: 911 call describes body found

FRISCO, N.C. (WAVY) - A body found in Frisco, NC on July 14 has been identified by the Dare County Sheriff's Office as Lynn Jackenheimer, 33, of Ashland, Ohio.

Jackenheimer was last seen on July 3 while vacationing on the Outer Banks with her two children and  her ex-boyfriend, Nate Summerfield. Summerfield is considered a person of interest in this case.

A man discovered her body and immediately called 911. WAVY.com has obtained that call.

Dispatcher: Good afternoon 911 what's the address of the emergency?

Caller: Hi, I think I may have found uh possibly a body in a trash bag.

Dispatcher: OK, where?

Caller: From that girl who's missing from Ohio.

Dispatcher: Yeah (Inaudible) where are you? (Inaudible) And what makes you think it's possibly her?

Caller: Um, well I could smell (Inaudible) I've been around here doing some paperwork and I could smell something, I could feel like (Inaudible) Yeah, you could tell through the marsh

Dispatcher: Yeah.

Caller: (?) I knew that girl had been missing so I got out here to look and it was a trashbag back there and the only reason I just couldn't think of anything further (?) so I got my (?) I couldn't tell what it is at first but then there's definitely a Hooter's shirt, I

could read Hooter's across the shirt.

Dispatcher: OK. Alright. And is there definitely more than clothing in there?

Caller: Yes, yes, I mean there's... at first, I mean it was so big I thought maybe someone put a turtle or maybe something in there but when I saw it, you know (?) as much as I could to make sure, because of the Hooter's shirt.

Dispatcher: OK, and the smell's really bad right?

Caller: Yeah.

Dispatcher: OK, and your name sir?

Caller: (Inaudible)

Dipatcher: Alright, we'll get a deputy right out to you, OK?

Caller: OK.

Dispatcher: Alright, thank you.

Caller: Alright. Thank you.

Dispatcher: Bye bye.
