3-car crash in Suffolk Wed. morning

Rt. 58 at Bob Fuller Drive

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A three-car accident blocked traffic Wednesday morning in Suffolk, on Route 58 at Bob Fuller Drive near the entrance to the SPSA Landfill, according to Suffolk police.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:14 a.m., and involved a Ford pick-up truck, a Kia Sedan and a Chevy flatbed truck. Raymond Haywood, 73, of Newport News, and the driver of the Ford, has been charged with reckless failure to yield right of way.

Rose Anne Heitzenrater of Virginia Beach was injured in the accident. She was brought to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
