Hampton Roads helps move chapter closer to cure

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Hampton Roads helped move the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation closer to finding a cure.
Last night the local JDRF chapter held it's annual Hope Gala in Virginia Beach. Guests bid on live and silent auction items to raise money for type one diabetes research and education.
The event brought in more than 250-thousand dollars.
