Helicopter crash kills Beach soldier

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Chief Warrant Officer Jackie L. McFarlane, 30 of Virginia Beach, died Aug. 14 in Al Taqaddum, Iraq of injuries suffered when his helicopter crashed, according to the Department of Defense.
He served active duty in the Army in the 1st Battalion, 52nd Aviation Regiment, Task Force 49 based in Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
