PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The Portsmouth Health Department will hold an H1N1 vaccination clinic for high risk individuals on a first come, first served basis on Saturday, November 7.

As more vaccine becomes available, the Health Department says it will hold additional H1N1 vaccination clinics.

Saturday's clinic will be held at I. C. Norcom High School at 1801 London Blvd., from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. or until the vaccine runs out.

The clinic is targeting high risk target groups identified by the Centers for Disease Control:
• pregnant women
• people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
• healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
• persons between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old
• people ages of 25 through 64 years of age who are at higher risk for 2009 H1N1 because of chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems.
