Woman's wallet snatched at Walmart

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - A woman shopping at a Newport News Walmart was the recent victim of theft.
On March 3, the 69-year-old Virginia Beach woman was inside the Walmart at 12401 Jefferson Avenue, when a woman asked her for help finding ingredients for a healthy meal. The woman grabbed her glasses from her purse, which was strapped to her shopping cart. While she was talking to the other woman, police say a second person walked by and snatched the victim's wallet from her purse.
Surveillance cameras at the store captured images of the alleged suspects.
