WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - Williamsburg Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a robbery at an apartment complex Tuesday.
Maj. Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department said officers were dispatched to the Village of Woodshire apartment complex in the 100 block of Merrimac Trail around 1:30 p.m. for a report of a robbery.
The investigation revealed the victim was accosted by an unknown black male suspect in the laundry room of the complex. The suspect shoved the victim before taking an undisclosed amount of money and fleeing.
The suspect is described as standing 6’ and was wearing a white, sleeveless t-shirt, dark jeans and a black rag on his head.
