Victim injured in robbery, shooting

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk Police need help identifying and locating two suspects who robbed and shot a man Saturday night.

According to Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department, the shooting occurred in the 100 block of West Balview Avenue in Ocean View around 7 p.m. The male victim was approached by two unknown black males when one of the suspects displayed a weapon and demanded the victim’s wallet.

During the altercation, the victim suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound. The suspects were able to flee in a blue vehicle.
