VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach police are asking the public for help in identifying a man and a woman wanted for walking out of a Wal-Mart store with an item they did not pay for.

According to Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department, the incident happened Sept. 16 at approximately 1:20 a.m. at a Wal-Mart on the 600 block of Phoenix Drive. Moyers says a loss prevention officer observed the man and woman placing an item into a shopping cart and walking out of the store with it without paying.

The suspects are described as a white man and woman believed to be driving a small silver colored 4-door vehicle.
