Two homicides reported in Northampton

SEABOARD, N.C. (WAVY) - The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating two homicides during the past week in Northampton County.

According to Noelle Talley with SBI, the first victim was 17-year-old Damon Riddick at approximately 7 p.m. on Oct. 26. Riddick was found at 307 Faison Street.

The second victim was 24-year-old Kevin Wilson Branch, found near railroad tracks near 125 W. Central St. at 11 .m. Oct. 28.

Both victims had gunshot wounds and both are being investigated by the SBI per the request of the Seaboard Police Department.

Talley would not say whether or not the two cases were related. No arrests have been made in either case.
