MOYOCK, N.C. - Deputies say two people have been arrested for manufacturing meth at a Moyock home.

According to Lindsay Voorhees with the Currituck County Sheriff's Office, deputies, detectives and the Currituck Narcotics Unit responded to 1277 Tulls Creek Rd. Oct. 5 for a meth lab tip.

Voorhees says once the home was secured, agents from the State Bureau of Investigation responded to the home with a warrant and seized meth from the home. JoAnne Leigh Ethridge, 48, and Buddy Ray Wenner, 24, both of the address of the meth lab were arrested.

Both were charged with manufacture SHC II controlled substance, maintaining a place for controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Voorhees says Wenner moved to Virginia in the past 30 days and is in the Currituck County jail under a $200,000 bond and Etheridge is behind bars at the Chesapeake City Jail with no bond for failing to appear in court and was served a fugitive warrant.
