Three men wanted for home invasion

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police say three armed men are wanted for ransacking a Newport News home and assaulting a woman while four children were at the home.
According to Lou Thurston with the Newport News Police Department, the men entered a home in the 800 block of Hampton Avenue Wednesday evening.
The female victim, 33, says the men forced their way inside, demanded money and one asked about the woman's boyfriend who was not there.
The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone.
Thurston says a 7-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl were at the home during the invasion.
Thurston says the three men, each approximately 5'8", were all wearing black sweatshirts, black ski masks and carrying handguns.
