GATES COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) - Out of 19 dogs found in poor condition in a Gates County, N.C. backyard earlier this month, three were euthanized.

The dogs were found off Daniels Road in poor shape, unfed and showing wounds.

One was euthanized because it bit four people in two days and two were euthanized due to their medical conditions.

The rest were taken to several different dog rescue leagues.

It is unknown whether the dogs were used for dog fighting and whether or not their owner(s) would face charges.
