Thieves snatch package from home

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are searching for two female suspects who stole a package from a home in December.

Jimmy Barnes with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the theft occurred on Dec. 20 just before 6 p.m. in the Lakes subdivision. A camera was able to capture images of the suspects.

The suspects are described as black females possibly in their teens or early 20s. They were both wearing jackets, hats and scarves at the time of the incident.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or the First Precinct Property Crimes Unit at 757-385-5887. Callers are eligible for a $1,000 reward.
