SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk Police say a woman turned herself in after she saw her picture on local media outlets in connection to credit card fraud.
According to Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk, a Suffolk woman's purse was stolen after she left it behind at a business Nov. 2. Her credit card was used within just two hours to purchase more than $400 in groceries.
The suspect, identified as Kelisha Alexis Branch, 26, of Suffolk, turned herself in Dec. 6, Klink said. She has been charged with felony credit card theft, felony credit card fraud and felony identity theft.
