HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Two teens suffered non-life threatening injuries after they were shot during an argument in Hampton Monday night.
According to Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division, the shooting occurred just before 11 p.m. in the first block of Kingsbury Way. Officers found a 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male both suffering from gunshot wounds to the lower torso.
Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Price said the victims and another person were walking in the area when they got into a verbal altercation with a suspect, identified as Anthony Wallace, 33. Wallace brandished a firearm and shot the victims, Price added.
Wallace is facing charges of two counts of maiming, one count of attempted maiming , three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and three counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
