Teen wanted for multiple burglaries

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A 15-year-old is wanted for several burglaries in the South Wythe section of Hampton.

According to Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division, William Joseph Brown, III is wanted for several burglaries that happened between Sept. 17 and Sept. 19. Price says Brown allegedly entered three homes through back windows of one home in the 700 block of Milford Avenue and two homes in the 500 block of Homestead Avenue.

Price says the suspect stole electronics, televisions or laptop computers from the homes.

Brown, of the 1500 block of Hardy Cash Drive, is wanted on three counts of burglary and three counts of grand larceny.

In addition, Price says Brown has outstanding warrants on file for one count of burglary, one count of grand larceny, one count of unauthorized use of vehicle and one count of a probation violation.
