HAMPTON , Va. (WAVY) - A teen has been arrested in connection to a robbery at a Hampton gas station Thursday night.
Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division said officers were dispatched to a Shell gas station in 1000 block of Big Bethel Road for a report of a robbery just after 11 p.m.
On scene, officers learned a suspect entered the store with a bandanna covering his face, went behind a counter and assaulted an employee. The suspect was able to flee the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to Price, the suspect was located in the first block of Michaels Woods Drive. The suspect, 17-year-old male juvenile, was arrested without incident and charged with robbery.
