NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Norfolk teen was arrested in Raleigh, N.C. in connection with an armed robber last December.
According to Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department, three suspects robbed two females at gunpoint just after midnight in the 1200 block of West Tanners Creek Drive Dec. 29, 2012.
Two of the suspects were taken into custody shortly after the robbery and a third suspect fled the area.
That suspect, 19-year-old Nakia Lamont Evans, was arrested in Raleigh during the early morning hours Friday.
When he is returned to Norfolk, Evans will be charged with abduction, two counts of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and three counts of use of a firearm.
Evans was located with the held og the Norfolk U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Norfolk Fugitive Force.
