PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Two men robbed a Portsmouth fast food restaurant Sunday night, and police need help finding them.
Jan Clark with the Portsmouth Police Department said officers were dispatched to Hardee’s located at 850 London Blvd. for a report of an alarm around 8:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found several, uninjured employees inside the business and no customers.
Further investigation revealed two armed suspects entered the restaurant through a side door. One suspect ordered the employees into the office and two were told to get on the floor while a third was forced to open a safe at gunpoint.
Clark said the suspects were able to flee the restaurant through a back door. They were described as black males in their 20s who wore dark clothing with bandanas covering their faces at the time of the robbery.
