Suspects distract clerk, steal phones

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are asking for help in identifying two people officers say stole several cell phones from a mall kiosk.

Jimmy Barnes with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the theft occurred at a kiosk inside Lynnhaven Mall. A female suspect distracted a clerk while a male suspect stole the cell phones.

The male suspect is described as a black male standing 5’10” to 6’ with a thin build and is about 175 pounds. The female suspect is described as a black female standing 5’7” to 5’9” weighing about 150 pounds. She has gold teeth.
