DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) - Deputies say a woman was arrested for attempting to sell jewelry stolen at one store to another in Dare County Wednesday.

According to Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard with the Dare County Sheriff's Office, 35-year-old Elizabeth Perry Cullipher of Harbinger, N.C. was charged with felony larceny Nov. 14 and released on a $4,500 bond.

Hoggard says deputies responded to a Manteo jewelry store for a larceny. Deputies then learned a woman had attempted to sell a large amount of jewelry at a Kitty Hawk jewelry store. Hoggard says the same jewelry was involved and Cullipher was arrested and charged for the incident.
