NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The Secret Service is investigating a recent rise in counterfeit money being used at Norfolk post offices.
According to Jerry Scheuer with the Secret Service, agents are aware of the recent activity surrounding the passing of the fake $100 bills. Scheuer added it was not unusual for crimes to occur during the holidays.
There is no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information should call police.
