Surveillance released in bank robbery

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Portsmouth Police are investigating a bank robbery Friday afternoon.
Jan Clark with the Portsmouth Police Department said the robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo located in the 5700 block of Portsmouth Boulevard.
Clark told WAVY.com a black male entered the bank around 3 p.m. and passed a note demanding money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount toward Elmhurst Lane.
There were several employees and two customers in the bank at the time of the robbery. The suspect is described as standing 6' and was wearing a white baseball cap and white jacket.
