PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Police say there has been a spike in larcenies from vehicles in the Churchland section of Portsmouth.
Jan Clark with the Portsmouth Police Department says a man reported his government credit card stolen from his vehicle Sept. 21 in the 4300 block of Heron Point. Shortly after, a suspect was seen using that card at the Happy Shopper in the 600 block of East Washington in Suffolk and the Holiday Food Store in the 400 block of East Washington Street in Suffolk.
The man is described as a black man with a beard and medium length hair and may have been at the two stores with other suspects.
