Police seek help to ID shoplifter

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are asking for help identifying a man who reportedly shoplifted at a store in the Landstown Shopping Center.

Jimmy Barnes with the City of Virginia Beach said an unknown black male shoplifted at the Kohl's, but did not say when the crime occurred.

The suspect was wearing a red stocking hat, white shirt and black jacket at the time of the incident and was captured on the store's surveillance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Virginia Beach Police at 757-385-4130 or 757-385-4377.
